On May 5, the "Victory 408" aluminum alloy transport boat designed and built by Conglin Kaiwa for the Shengli Oilfield Branch of Sinopec was successfully delivered. The handover ceremony was held at the Penglai Central Fishing Port dock, attended by Zhang Peiliang, Chairman of the Board of Conglin Group, and Ma Daixin, Assistant Director of the Shengli Oilfield Branch, among other leaders.
With the continuous advancement of major strategies such as China's "Belt and Road Initiative" and "Made in China 2025", aluminum alloy ships, represented by energy saving and environmental protection, have become a new direction for the transformation and upgrading of the shipbuilding industry. For many years, Conglin Kaiwa has been focused onaluminum alloy shipsdesign, research and development, and manufacturing, always adhering to international manufacturing standards to achieve product internationalization, marketization, and high-end development. The delivered "Victory 408" aluminum alloy transport boat was built based on fully absorbing advanced design and manufacturing experiences from abroad, using a new design concept and production process. The hull features a deep V-shaped hull line, a forward-leaning bow, and a dual-engine dual-propeller propulsion system in the stern engine room, making the entire boat stable in operation, energy-efficient, and safe and fast.
Zhu Weizhong, General Manager of Conglin Kaiwa, stated in his speech at the handover ceremony that the successful delivery of the "Victory 408" aluminum alloy transport boat is a milestone for Conglin Kaiwa. He believes that the delivery and use of this boat will quickly improve the production efficiency of the Shengli Oilfield and create good benefits. Ma Daixin stated that the "Victory 408" aluminum alloy transport boat is a key project for the oil spill recovery facilities on the shore of the Shengli Oilfield and an important measure for the structural adjustment of the ship equipment center. Its completion and production are of great significance for enhancing the rapid response capability to emergencies in the Shengli Oilfield. The delivery of the "Victory 408" aluminum alloy transport boat is the result of the united efforts of both parties and will become a model of mutual benefit, common development, and sincere cooperation between Conglin Group and the Shengli Oilfield Branch of Sinopec.
As the first aluminum alloy complete ship delivered in Longkou City, the "Victory 408" not only marks a new level in Conglin Kaiwa's design and construction capabilities but also adds a brilliant touch to the title of "China's Transportation Aluminum City," establishing a new image for Conglin Kaiwa as an aluminum alloy ship enterprise. Aluminum alloy ships are a good replacement for traditional wooden ships, steel ships, and fiberglass ships, and are an important supplement and improvement to the product structure of China's shipbuilding industry. As a representative enterprise of aluminum alloy ships, Conglin Kaiwa has actively responded to the national call, continuously strengthened the promotion and guidance of aluminum alloy ships, and made positive efforts to promote the transformation and upgrading of the shipbuilding industry and achieve sustainable development.
The "Victory 408" aluminum alloy transport boat has a total length of 20.34 meters, a width of 6.1 meters, a depth of 2.29 meters, a designed draft of 0.9 meters, and a full load displacement of 39.9 tons. This boat is mainly used for commuting of offshore workers in the Bohai Bay, transportation of small oil spill recovery equipment and living supplies, and also has functions for emergency command at oil spill sites and towing small oil booms from the stern.
