On July 14, nine teachers and over 110 students from the School of Shipbuilding at Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) visited Conglin Kaiwa for learning and exchange. Chief Engineer Gao Anjiang, the technical center, and relevant personnel from Conglin Kaiwa received the visitors and accompanied them for discussions and explanations.
The School of Shipbuilding at Harbin Institute of Technology has a strong faculty, with 13 laboratories covering ship design, material research and development, welding, rapid hull construction, and digital shipbuilding. Its teaching quality and research capabilities are among the best in Shandong. During the visit, Minister of Quality Mu Qingtao provided a detailed explanation of the development history of the aluminum alloy shipbuilding industry at Conglin, the unique ship types under construction, and the hull construction processes, allowing the visiting teachers and students to experience the innovative concepts in appearance, design, and structure of aluminum alloy ships up close. This showcased Conglin Kaiwa's outstanding achievements and technical strength in aluminum alloy shipbuilding. During the visit, Minister Mu answered the questions raised by the students in detail, deepening their understanding of our company's product design and research capabilities. Additionally, several first-time visiting teachers from Harbin Institute of Technology highly praised our company's strong aluminum alloy processing capabilities and diverse industrial development directions.
Chief Engineer Gao Anjiang held a discussion with Dean Gui Hongbin of the School of Shipbuilding at Harbin Institute of Technology. Gao expressed hope for both parties to continue deeper cooperation in technical research, talent cultivation, technology project applications, and industrialization, reaching a consensus. This visit marked the third time the School of Shipbuilding at Harbin Institute of Technology has visited, maintaining good and ongoing communication activities, laying a foundation for future win-win cooperation.
