On the afternoon of September 5, Mayor Lv Bo of Longkou City, accompanied by Chairman Zhang Peiliang and Chairman Su Zhenjia of the group company, visited Yantai Conglin Vocational School, where they were received by Principal Wang Xuefu and Vice Principal Ju Bo.
Mayor Lv and his team first visited the CNC machine tool processing training center, welding training center, and electrical and electronic training center, inquiring in detail about the teaching situation at each training center, which Principal Wang Xuefu introduced and explained one by one. They then toured the campus, and when they saw photos of our teachers training in Germany on the campus bulletin board, Chairman Zhang briefly introduced the purpose of sending staff to Germany for study and future plans to Mayor Lv.
After the visit, Mayor Lv and the group leaders had a discussion in the school conference room, engaging in in-depth exchanges on issues such as vocational education concepts and teaching reform and innovation. Mayor Lv first affirmed the remarkable achievements of Conglin Vocational School, which has accepted more than 400 full-time students in just four years, provided skills training for over 1,000 migrant workers, and offered opportunities for higher education to more than 1,500 adults. He expressed high approval of the series of measures taken by our school to fully absorb advanced German vocational education concepts and methods and innovate teaching models.
At the meeting, Mayor Lv stated that the Longkou City government has always attached great importance to the development of vocational education. Combining his experiences studying in Germany, he expressed some thoughts on the city government's future efforts in vocational education. Chairman Zhang reported on the future vocational education teaching plans and ideas of Conglin Vocational School, pointing out that the ultimate goal of a series of measures is to provide students with a different vocational education experience at Conglin Vocational School, breaking free from the shackles of "graduation means unemployment" and cultivating more skilled talents for society.
Conglin Vocational School will take advantage of the guidance from the city leaders' visit to further innovate the vocational education teaching model, comprehensively enhance the overall teaching level of the school, and lay a foundation for the future development of Conglin Group.
