Recently, it was learned from the National Standardization Administration that the national standard "Aluminum Alloy Extruded Profiles for Rail Vehicle Structures" drafted by our company won the second prize of the 2016 "China Standard Innovation Contribution Award."
The "China Standard Innovation Contribution Award" is the highest award in the field of standardization in our country, with a total of no more than 60 awards granted each year, jointly established by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration. This award aims to reward and recognize standard projects that have advanced technical levels, outstanding innovation, have been implemented for more than two years, and have produced significant economic and social benefits, in order to create a good environment for independent innovation in standardization, fully play the technical support role of standardization in economic and social development, and promote the overall quality and efficiency of our country's economic and social development.
The selection of this award has high specifications, a rigorous review process, and strict evaluation standards. The application for this award was led by the technical center. In order to strive for the award, we adopted a proactive approach of early preparation and operation, actively researched the award evaluation standards, and communicated with relevant personnel from the Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration, ultimately determining to apply for this award with the national standard for rail materials. After receiving the selection notice in March, the technical center, in conjunction with Conglin Aluminum, coordinated with participating standard drafting units such as Maidas, Nanshan Aluminum, and Southwest Aluminum to complete the preparation of the application materials; in April, the application materials were submitted to the Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, and after selection, this project became one of the six recommended quotas from our province to be reported to the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award Office; subsequently, after four stages of formal review, working group review, on-site review, and review committee evaluation, the award-winning units were selected by a review panel consisting of 40 experts, including 12 academicians. A total of 2 units from Shandong Province won the award, and our company was among them.
Winning this award is an important affirmation of our company's continuous and in-depth standardization work, and it also reflects our company's alignment with the direction of national industrial policy adjustments, strengthening the aluminum industry, and expanding aluminum application technologies and fields. In recent years, the technical center has been guided by the idea of enhancing the company's technical soft power, actively carrying out the formulation of national/industry/association/group standards in related fields in collaboration with companies such as Conglin Aluminum and Conglin Aluminum Ship. Currently, our company has presided over the drafting of three national standards: "Aluminum Alloy Extruded Profiles for Rail Vehicle Structures," "Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Extruded Profiles for Automobiles," and "Aluminum Alloy Extruded Profiles for All-Aluminum Bridge Structures," as well as the industry standard "Technical Requirements for Construction Inspection of Aluminum Alloy Superstructures for Fishing Vessels," and has participated in drafting more than 40 national and industry standards, further highlighting the company's leading position in the field of aluminum processing and high-end equipment manufacturing.
