On October 12, Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Port Group") issued a bid notification for the aluminum alloy transport boat design/construction project, and Conglin Kaiwa successfully won the bid for this project.
Shanghai Port Group is the largest port enterprise in China and currently ranks first in the world in both cargo throughput and container throughput. It has first-class pilotage technology and facilities, ship towing, and lightering equipment, with a total of 25 high-power tugboats, providing comprehensive services for import and export vessels. The aluminum alloy transport boat design/construction project being tendered is mainly used for the transportation of pilots in the Baoshan pilot transfer area. This project has high technical requirements, significant design difficulty, advanced overall assembly, and complex operating conditions.
The boat adopts advanced design technology and manufacturing experience from Finland, featuring a deep V-shaped hull, a rear-mounted engine room, and a forward-leaning bow, with a total length of 18.5 meters and a width of 4.73 meters. The deck's outdoor lines are smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a reasonable internal layout and spaciousness, providing an all-around unobstructed view. The entire boat is made of high-quality imported marine aluminum alloy, equipped with a dual-engine and dual-jet pump propulsion system in the engine room, with a total displacement of 22 tons, a speed of ≥25 knots under full load conditions, and a range of ≥250 nautical miles. The excellent overall lines and reasonable center of gravity give this boat good resistance to wind and waves, with a wind resistance rating of >7. Additionally, the boat has excellent sound insulation and noise reduction effects, with noise levels in the passenger cabin and lounge ≤68 decibels under full power operation of two main engines and one generator set. Therefore, this boat can be called the first all-aluminum high-speed transport boat designed and manufactured domestically using water jet propulsion. It features high safety, fast sailing speed, easy handling, good comfort, strong resistance to wind and waves, high-frequency usability, and the ability to operate continuously in complex water environments.
The successful bid for the aluminum alloy transport boat design/construction project by Shanghai Port Group is of great milestone significance for Conglin Kaiwa, marking a solid step forward in the field of government vessels, raising the level of research and design capabilities to a new height, and strongly demonstrating the company's professional level and comprehensive strength in aluminum alloy ship design and manufacturing.
